§ 30. Mr. Harold Davies
asked the Lord Privy Seal what consultations took place within the South-East Asia Treaty Organisation, between the Government and parties to the negotiations with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, for a cease-fire before the United States Administration acceded to the request 38W of the Laotian Royalist Government for more arms and munitions and for the despatch of a United States military mission.
§ Mr. Heath
The proceedings of the South-East Asia Treaty Organisation Council Representatives are confidential, but there has been continuous consultation both within the South-East Treaty Organisation and with our Commonwealth and other friends on all aspects of the situation in Laos, including the cease-fire.
