§ 61. Mr. Fisherasked the Minister of Transport why he has refused to allow a halt sign at the junction of Berrylands Road and King Charles Roard, Surbiton.
§ Mr. Marples"Halt" signs are authorised only where the view of traffic on the major road, from the minor road, is so restricted that it is necessary for all drivers on the minor road to stop. This criterion is not met at the junction of Berrylands Road and King Charles Road.
The Surbiton Council are to improve the sight lines at the junction.
