HC Deb 26 April 1961 vol 639 c47W
66. Mr. Kelley

asked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that construction work on the Doncaster by-pass is likely to be held up because of a shortage of cement in that area; and what steps he will take to ensure that this important work is not impeded for this reason.

Mr. Marples

There have been some difficulties in obtaining enough cement for these works, but on my latest information I do not expect the completion of the works to be delayed on that account. I am, however, watching the supply position closely.
