§ 50. Mr. V. Yatesasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department for how long John Charles Butler, who was sentenced to a term of imprisonment earlier this year, has been in Her Majesty's Prison, Winson Green, pending the hearing of his case by the Court of Criminal Appeal.
§ Mr. VosperJohn Charles Butler applied to the Court of Criminal Appeal on 20th July last for leave to appeal against conviction and sentence, and since his application has not yet been determined, he has since that date been treated as an appellant in prison.
