§ Lord John HopeI propose to retain this site for use by Her Majesty's Government and, in consultation with the appropriate Italian Authorities, to go ahead with the erection of Embassy offices on it. I have invited Sir Basil Spence to act as architect for the building and I am very glad to say that he has accepted the commission.
