§ Mr. R. A. ButlerThe weight of opinion is clearly in favour of an extension of Summer Time. After careful consideration of all points of view, Her Majesty's Government have decided to lay before Parliament the draft of an Order-in-Council under the Summer Time Act, 1947, extending the period next year by three weeks in both spring and autumn, so that it will run from 26th March to 29th October.
