§ Captain Kerbyasked the Prime Minister, in view of the prolonged absence from the country of the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies, if he will consider the appointment of an additional Minister in this Department.
§ The Prime MinisterAlthough the burden of work in the Colonial Office continues to be heavy, I am not convinced that the temporary absence of one Minister makes necessary the permanent creation of a new Ministerial post.
