§ Mr. de Freitasasked the Minister of Transport how many miles of the Great North Road in Lincolnshire is at present doubled tracked and how soon it is planned that the rest will be double tracked.
§ Mr. MarplesDual carriageways are open to traffic on 4½ miles of the Great North Road in Lincolnshire. Work is now in hand on the provision of a further 12½ miles of dual carriageways, 2¼ miles of which should be completed by the end of this year and the remainder early in 1962. The remaining 5¼ miles within the county consists mainly of 3-lane single carriageway, and the dualling of these sections will be undertaken later as funds permit.
