§ 68. Mr. Bellengerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what action Her Majesty's Government will take with respect to the proposals made by the Federal German Government for negotiations between the opposing European trade blocks.
Mr. AmoryI am, of course, aware of the statement of German Government policy made in the Bundestag and have seen reports of the discussions which have taken place between Foreign Ministers of the European Economic Community. Her Majesty's Government strongly welcome any constructive proposals which may lead to an agreement between the Six and the Seven. We have, however, had no official proposals for urgent conversations.
