§ 80. Mr. Teeling
asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware of the anxiety felt in Malta that in any planning at the present Commonwealth Conference for integration 41W between the Colonial and Commonwealth Offices the future of Malta, when it has a new constitution, might be overlooked; and if he will request the formal or informal discussion of Malta's status in this context.
§ Mr. Iain Macleod
No report of any such anxiety has been brought to my notice. As regards the second part of the Question, it has never been the practice to reveal full details of these confidential discussions.
