HC Deb 09 May 1960 vol 623 cc26-8W
Mr. Skeffington

asked the Minister of Works whether he will consider lengthening the hours during which the Tower of London is open to the public by at least one hour.

Lord John Hope

The summer-time opening hours were lengthened by half an hour in 1956 after a very careful review in consultation with the authorities at the Tower. I do not think that a further extension is practicable.
