Dr. King

asked the Minister of Education the numbers of school leavers at the end of each of the three terms in the school year 1958–59, and the estimated numbers for each term in 1959–60, for Hampshire.

Sir D. Eccles

In the educational year ending July, 1959, 7,673 pupils left maintained schools in Hampshire. A rather smaller number is expected to leave this year. Statistics of the number of school leavers term by term are not available.
