§ 50. Mr. Awberyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what communications he has received from the municipal corporations on the question of the extension of British Summer time; and what was the nature of his reply.
§ Mr. VosperThe Association of Municipal Corporations, after consulting its members, informed my right hon. Friend that 78 are in favour of making no change; 36 favour an extension of Summer Time in the autumn; 104 favour an extension in the autumn and spring; 91W 144 would prefer Summer Time to be continued throughout the year; and 43 have expressed no opinion. The Association's letter was acknowledged.
