Mr. Brockway

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what reply has been given to the request of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago that Her Majesty's Government should discuss with a bi-partisan delegation from the Legislative Council the economic measures to be taken by the Colony in consequence of the racialist policy of the Union of South Africa.

Mr. Iain Macleod

The Government of Trinidad and Tobago were assured that the delegation would be received and its representations carefully considered.
