asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies the number of meetings held in 1956, 1957, 1958 and 1959, of the Hong Kong Governor's 144W Standing Committee which keeps under frequent review problems of bribery and corruption in the Colony.
Mr. lain Macleod
The Standing Committee, which assists the Governor in his review of these problems, was first appointed on the 31st October, 1956. It met eight times in 1957, once in 1958, twice in 1959 and once this year.
