§ Commander Purseyasked the Minister of Education if he will state the number of children's sight-tests carried out in school-clinics in Hull, in 1959, the number of National Health Service frames dispensed at the clinics, and the number of prescriptions taken to opticians by parents.
§ Sir D. Eccles4,475 sight tests were carried out at school clinics in Hull during 1959. I am informed that the number of spectacles (including replacements) dispensed at the clinics was 3,088 and that 780 prescriptions were taken to opticians by parents.
