§ Mr. GodberNot more than 4 ozs. of strychnine are held in stock, and normally not more than a quarter of an ounce is issued to an employee, although exceptionally, with the authority of a senior officer, up to 1 oz. may be issued. The strychnine is issued to operators in screw-capped glass jars clearly labelled strychnine and poison, and is kept by them in a locked box.
