HC Deb 21 March 1960 vol 620 c3W
24. Mr. Grimond

asked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance if he will instruct his advisory committee to examine the working of the present Regulations with regard to seasonal workers when applied to Shetland and other similar areas.

Mr. Boyd-Carpenter

No. The general question of the Seasonal Workers Regulations has twice been before the Advisory Committee, and I do not think that the special reference suggested would serve any useful purpose.
