§ 63. Mr. Priorasked the Minister of Health whether he will now review the regulations governing the inclusion of antibiotics in calf foods.
§ Miss PittA Joint Committee of the Agricultural and Medical Research Councils is re-examining the possible consequences of the feeding of antibiotics to farm animals and considering whether this constitutes a danger to human or animal health. The question of amending the present regulations, which do not permit the inclusion of antibiotics in calf food, will be considered in the light of their advice.
