§ Mr. Emery
asked the Minister of State for Commonwealth Relations if he is yet able to state what action he is taking, and what action he proposes for the future, to provide travel documents for those South African citizens in any of the South African protectorates who ask Her Majesty's Government for political asylum.
§ Mr. Alport
So far as my right hon. Friend is aware, no applications for travel documents have been received from any of the South African citizens now in the High Commission Territories who have come there requesting political asylum.
Regarding the Reverend Marcus Kooper, I would refer the hon. Member to my reply on 28th July to the hon. Member for Eton and Slough (Mr. Brockway).
