§ Mr. MarplesI am informed that the erection of the Forth Road bridge is proceeding on schedule and that the contract date for completion is the end of 1963. There has been no change in policy as to the phasing of the Forth Bridge and Severn Bridge projects. As I have already stated, work cannot begin on the latter until the preliminary statutory processes have been completed and the necessary funds are available.
