§ Sir A. Hurdasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what advice he has received from his Advisory Committee on Artificial Insemination on the controversy that has arisen between the National Cattle Breeders' Association and the Milk Marketing Board on the future development of the insemination service.
§ Mr. HareDiscussions have already taken place between the National Cattle Breeders' Association and the Milk Marketing Board, and I understand that arrangements have been made for regular exchanges of views in the future. I welcome this development because I134W am sure it is best for the breed societies and other farmers' organisations themselves to work out their future rôle and the relationship which should exist between them. In the circumstances, the matter has not been considered by the Central Advisory Committee on Artificial Insemination.
