§ Mr. Iain MacleodAfter prolonged negotiations between the East African Railways and Harbours Administration and the three territorial railway unions, agreement was first reached with the Tanganyika Union on 30th April. A settlement on a similar basis has since been reached with the Uganda and Kenya Unions and is effective from 9th May.
