§ 82. Mr. Scott-Hopkinsasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will take steps to ensure that the North Devon Water Board and North Cornwall Water Board have sufficient capital in order that they may fulfil the task of bringing mains supplies to all outlying districts in the near future.
§ Mr. H. BrookeI can assure my hon. Friend that no special steps are required. Subject to my sanction to borrow, the Boards may raise loans, if necessary from the Public Works Loan Board for expenditure on schemes to extend mains water supplies within their areas.
