§ Mr. R. AllanIt is estimated that United Kingdom membership of the Inter-governmental Committee for European Migration would entail an annual contribution of about £76,000.
Her Majesty's Government have recently given consideration to the possibility of joining the Committee, but we have many other urgent claims on our resources and have been forced to conclude that we should not be justified in joining I.C.E.M. whose primary activities are the movement of migrants from European countries with surplus population.
