§ 61. Mr. Fisherasked the Minister of State for Commonwealth Relations whether the Government would be prepared to invest the unexpended part of the £1,500,000 per annum, permitted to be spent under the Commonwealth Settlement Act, in housing loans for United Kingdom migrants to Australia and New Zealand, in the same way as the Netherlands Government are already doing for their nationals migrating to these Commonwealth countries.
§ Mr. R. ThompsonI see considerable difficulties in this proposal, but I am arranging to have the matter reexamined.
