Mr. Gresham Cookeasked the Secretary of State for Air, in view of some of the long-term weather forecasts, of unusual reliability, made by the American Institute of Aerological Research, if he will employ the services of this Institute for weather forecasting.
Mr. WardI understand that the Institute to which my hon. Friend refers is one of many commercial firms engaged in weather forecasting in the United States. I have no evidence that its forecasts are of unusual reliability, and I do not intend to employ its services.
