§ Mr. Roy Jenkinsasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether he proposes to make a preservation order for the Central Hotel, Cambridge, in view of the fact that it was listed by the Royal Commission on Ancient Monuments as specially worthy of preservation.
§ Mr. H. BrookeI informed the Cambridgeshire County Council last April that I did not propose to make a preservation order. I have considered the matter further in the light of what the Royal Commission has said, and of all other relevant factors, but I adhere to my original view.
