§ Sir D. EcclesThe standards for colleges of advanced technology are related broadly to those recommended in my Department's Building Bulletin No. 5, a copy of which I am sending to the hon. Member. It is recognised, however, that owing to the special nature of their work these colleges will often require accommodation which in one respect or another is rather more generous than that recommended for technical colleges as a whole. I have asked my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer to let the hon. Member have particulars so far as the universities are concerned.
