§ 59. Mr. Masonasked the Postmaster-General what progress is being made in reducing the stocks of 1,555,000 telephone instruments held in reserve by the Factories Department of the Post Office.
§ Miss PikeThe figure mentioned by the hon. Member represents the total stock of telephones held as at 1st April, 1958. By the end of next month this will be reduced to 669,000, which I regard as a reasonable holding.
