EcclesThe functions of the Road Research Laboratory, which is a Research Station operated by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, are to conduct research into, and advise on, any aspect of roads, road users and vehicles that can contribute to making the national road system efficient, economical, durable and safe. The scope of its activities is indicated in detail in the published Annual Reports of the Road Research Board.
