Mr. de Freitasasked the Prime Minister whether, in order to emphasise that the areas to be retained in Cyprus are for military purposes only, he will arrange for the next stage of the negotiations in Cyprus to be undertaken by the Service Departments rather than by the Foreign Office or Colonial Office.
