§ Mr. MaclayThe Standing Consultative Council on Youth Service in Scotland under the Chairmanship of Lord Kilbrandon has just embarked on its remit to review Youth Service provision and co-ordinate its development. The Council will, I am sure, study with interest the Report of the Albemarle Committee on the Youth Service in England and Wales published on 3rd February. Although the Report does not deal with Scotland, many of its recommendations are likely to be equally applicable north of the border; some of them indeed reflect existing Scottish practice.
