HC Deb 02 February 1960 vol 616 cc113-4W
77. Mr. Teeling

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what steps are being taken to cope with the likely influx of pilgrims into Malta during this year; and to what extent the Malta Tourist Board will bear in mind that these pilgrims may not be of the wealthy type for whom it seems to be catering at the present time.

Mr. J. Amery

The Centenary Celebrations Committee is making special temporary accommodation arrangements for pilgrims attending the Pauline celebrations.

Since the Malta Government Tourist Board is not involved in these arrangements, the second part of the Question does not arise.
