§ Mr. Goodhewasked the Minister of Transport to give, expressed in vehicle-miles, the rates for fatal acidents, injury accidents, for fatalities and persons injured, respectively, for the M.1, M.10 and M.45 route and for all-purpose rural roads.
§ Mr. MarplesThe following is the information for M.1, M.10 and M.45:
report from Aberdeen Harbour Commissioners that the replacement of Nos. 2 and 3 pontoon docks at Aberdeen, the absence of which is increasing unemployment there, should be entirely financed out of public funds.
§ Mr. HayHer Majesty's Government do not accept the views expressed in the report about the need for replacement of the largest pontoon dock at a cost of £500,000. Nor do they consider that the conditions laid down in the Local Employment Act, 1960, would permit the cost of dock No. 2 being entirely financed from Government funds.
