§ Mr. SoamesFollowing on the successful campaign against bovine tuberculosis, the Government have decided in principle to introduce a compulsory slaughter policy with compensation against swine fever and to offer free vaccination of female calves against contagious abortion. A further announcement will be made after details have been discussed with the interested organisations.
