§ Mr. MarplesIn conjunction with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Education and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, I am considering in what ways we can further encourage and extend the good work which is already being done in training children in Road Safety, particularly by the teaching profession and the police. I am also pressing ahead with general road safety measures which will benefit child pedestrians as well as other categories of road users.
