§ 93. Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Minister of Defence if he will make a statement about plans to offer training bases to German troops in Great Britain, including the names of the proposed sites; and whether the training will be with missiles.
§ Mr. WatkinsonHer Majesty's Government have said that they are willing to consider whether they can meet any reasonable request for the provision of logistic and training facilities in the United Kingdom that may be put to them by the Federal Republic of Germany—or any other member of N.A.T.O.—and which is supported by the N.A.T.O. military authorities. The Federal Republic has expressed general interest in the offer but has so far made no specific requests.
