HC Deb 26 November 1959 vol 614 c68W
Sir J. Duncan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what steps he is taking to ensure that Scotland gets its share of the scientific research and development projects, both civil and military, sponsored by the Government.

Mr. Maclay

The Government are well aware of the importance of siting centres of research and development to the best advantage and I can assure my hon. Friend that I shall continue to keep in touch with my noble Friend the Minister for Science and other Ministers concerned and that full attention will be paid to the interests of Scotland.
