§ 82. Dr. A. Thompsonasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he has considered the communication of the Conference of the Small Burghs of West Fife and of Lochgelly Local Committee of Fife County Council concerning industrial development in that area; and, as a matter of urgency, if he will take such other steps as may be necessary to avoid the area becoming depressed.
§ Mr. MaudlingI replied to this communication on 17th November, and, as I said in my letter, the position in the area will continue to be closely watched.
