§ 60. Dame Irene Wardasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what consultations he is having with local authorities to ensure that housing committees are aware that it is desirable that adjustments are made in the provision of houses when families are willing to care for aged parents living alone in need of care and attention.
§ Mr. H. BrookeI fully agree with my hon. Friend that this is desirable, and I think that housing committees are already alive to the advantages of it. But when a suitable occasion arises I will bring it to their notice afresh.
