§ 92. Mr. W. W. Hamiltonasked the Civil Lord of the Admiralty what progress has been made in the improvements of houses in Crombie, Fife; and what will be the effect of such improvements on the level of rents.
§ Mr. C. Ian Orr-EwingOf these Admiralty houses to be improved, eight of the first batch of nine have been completed and the ninth will complete at the end of this week. Work on a further five will begin immediately after. These improvements will result in an increase in rent between 6s. 5d. and 7s. 10d. a week depending on the cost and nature of the conversions.
