§ Sir J. Hutchisonasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation the result of the investigation carried out by the Joint Fire Research Organisation of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research into certain aspects of a recent fire in a Glasgow tramcar.
§ Mr. WatkinsonThe results of the Joint Fire Research Organisation's investigation will be included in the Report of the inspecting officer who is conducting the formal inquiry into the fire. It would be wrong to disclose the results of the Joint Fire Research Organisation's investigation in isolation. The inspecting officer's report is not yet complete but will be published in due course.
