§ 55. Mr. Swinglerasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation when he expects to be able to give a date to authorise commencement of the trunk road improvement scheme in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
§ Mr. NugentConstructional work cannot be authorised until entry on to the necessary land has been secured and this, as I have explained in detail to the hon. Member, is likely to be difficult for this scheme. Authorisation will also depend upon the availability of funds in the year during which a physical start of work becomes possible.
