HC Deb 05 May 1959 vol 605 c37W
Mr. Moss

asked the Paymaster-General to what extent coal production and consumption, during a convenient period in 1959, have been in accordance with anticipated levels; and if he will supply appropriate statistics.

Sir I. Horobin

Coal demand so far has not been inconsistent with the estimate of 200 million tons in 1959, but colliery production may be above the estimate.
