Mr. MacColl

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs how many dwellings have been built in each of the last three convenient years to accommodate overspill in new towns, through schemes made under the Town Development Act, 1952, and through other arrangements such as would attract subsidy under Section 3 (2) (e) of the Housing (Financial Provisions) Act, 1958, or comparable provisions of the Housing Subsidies Act, 1956, respectively.

The number of houses built by development corporations and through schemes made under the Town Development Act, 1952, is given below. No houses have been built under arrangements attracting subsidy under Section 3 (2) (e) of the Housing (Financial Provisions) Act, 1958.
