HC Deb 04 May 1959 vol 605 c1W
7. Mr. Awbery

asked the Minister of Health if he is aware that the demand for anti-poliomyelitis vaccine in Bristol exceeds the supply; when supplies were last sent to Bristol; and when further supplies will next be sent there.

Mr. Walker-Smith

I am aware of the recent rise in the number of people coming forward for vaccination and welcome it. The whole of the originally estimated requirement for April and all supplementary demands since received from Bristol have been met. Part of the order for May was dispatched last week and the remainder will follow.
