HC Deb 04 May 1959 vol 605 cc3-4W
56. Mr. Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is aware that West Germany are importing American-made long-playing records containing pictures of swastikas, of Hitler and other Nazi leaders at a rally, having recorded speeches of Hitler, Goebbels and Goering; and whether, as this contravenes the Potsdam Agreement, he will raise this matter with our American Allies with a view to stopping the export of these records.

Mr. R. Allan

I understand that an American record of this type has been on sale in Germany. This is a matter for the German authorities who have already taken action.
