asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what is his policy with regard to routing traffic from Basingstoke to Exeter via A.30 and A.303.

The choice of route from Basingstoke to Exeter is left to the individual preference of motorists as the best way of getting a reasonable division of traffic between A.30 and A.303.
