§ 59. Mr. Footasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will state, for each of the individual years from 1952 until and including 1958, the number of detainees in Kenya who have appealed to the Advisory Committee, the number of such appeals where the committee have recommended release, and the number of cases in which the Governor has declined to act on such recommendation.
